Jeju Free International City Development Center – The Only Self-Governing Province in Korea with Huge Investment Potential

Established in 2002, Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) is a national public company under the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs of Korean Government. JDC is responsible for the promotion of the six core projects with the estimated total investment of over US$45 billion. Currently, four projects including Jeju Science Park, Myths & History Theme Park, Seogwipo Tourism Port and Resort-type Residential Complex, have already been initiated. JDC has successfully attracted US$3 billion of inward foreign investment in the past months and its latest launch of the two core projects, Healthcare Town and English Education City are planned to start in January 2009. JDC management will share insights with the media, Q&As session will be available.
